Grammy Brown’s Frickadillers

“To me these are a little like small fried meat loafs! :)”


  • 2 pounds of hamburger meat
  • 1 Egg
  • 8-10 Saltines, crumbled
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons of milk


  1. Fill bottom of skillet with vegetable oil (about 1/8 of an inch deep) and heat.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Drop meat mixture by the tablespoonfuls in hot oil and fry until done.
